Additional Information: This set marks the debut of the Fathead Tradeables line. Like their larger predecessors, the Tradeables were designed to be pealed from the backing and applied to walls, windows and other locations for decorative purposes.  The peel-offs were issued in packs of five for $9.99. The backing is identical for all the cards.

  1. I’ve never seen these before, and I kind of like the design. Reminds me of something Fleer would have put out.

    • I like them too. I only found out about them because my mom gave my son a bunch of unopened packs of these for Christmas a few years ago. Fathead is still making them — they just released the 2012 Tradeables. I hope to get that checklist up (as well as a sample or two) within the next couple days. I’m holding off (for now) on posting the 2010 & 2011 checklists until I have samples for scanning purposes.

  2. Every so often someone thinks a large-size baseball card will be a commercial success. They never are, are they?

  3. P.S. That said, it _is_ a decent design. And I do have lots of 5×7 cards in my collection…
